National Print Museum Dublin
Peter Burch, 2012
The National Print Museum is a wonderful little building tucked away in the shadow of Lansdowne Road, Dublin.
I decided to go there on my final day in Dublin and was given an intimate, informative and insightful tour of the museum by one of its curators.
From Linotype and Monotype printers to replicas of the Gutenberg Press, the museum features a small but thorough collection of the machines that shaped print as we know it today.
Whether you're working on the web, in design or in motion graphics, I would recommend this museum to anyone with a passing interest in print or typography.
